Attica, Ind March 133 – Thomas W. Hively, 79, well known resident died Tuesday evening at 6:30 o’clock after a protracted illness resulting from paralysis.  He lived with his foster-son, Capt. Fred Sellers of North Perry Street.  Mr. Hively was born at Defiance, Ohio June 11, 1848, but when a young man moved with his parents in Indiana and lived the remainder of his life in Attica. He was the last operator of a horse drawn dray in the city, an occupation in which he was engaged for years.  He was a member of the Wabash lodge, IOOF and had the distinction of being one of the oldest Odd Fellows in the state.  Funeral services will be held from the home of Capt. Sellers Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. AW Jackman of Christian Church officiating. Interment in the Riverside Cemetery with Odd Fellows officiating. -kbz
